OUR STORY
Built from the inside out
Grieves Pryce began in 1996 as a management buyout from KPMG Search. Tracey joined shortly after the business was established, and what started as a niche executive search and selection firm has grown into something more complete: a business that understands career management from both sides of the hiring desk.
That dual perspective is rare. Most CV writers have never sat in a hiring chair. Most recruiters have never helped a candidate rebuild their story from scratch. We have done both thousands of times across almost every sector you can name.
In 2008, we formalised what had become an organic evolution. We expanded beyond executive search into full career management: CV writing, coaching, interview preparation, and the frank conversation that senior professionals rarely find elsewhere.
By 2016, something further had shifted. The clients who were finding us, and those being referred to us, were operating at a different altitude. Board-level appointments, FTSE transitions, CEO succession, global mandates. The work we were doing had quietly outgrown the professional CV market, and the brand that had served us through those CV-focused years, Professional CV Experts, no longer reflected what we had become. We began operating under our parent brand, Grieves Pryce Global Executive Services. Not a rebrand for its own sake, but an honest acknowledgement of where the business had arrived.
