We write it for you. Grieves Pryce is a done-for-you service: after your consultation, we research, structure, and write your CV and supporting documents by hand, then refine them with you through revisions. Coaching and interview preparation are available alongside, but the documents themselves are written for you.

How long should an executive CV be?

An executive CV is typically two to three pages, and occasionally longer where an extensive board or portfolio career justifies it. Length matters less than relevance: every line should earn its place by evidencing leadership impact and commercial value, which is what boards and executive search look for.

What is the difference between a CV and a resume?

In the UK and most international markets the document is called a CV, while in the United States it is called a resume. For senior roles the principle is the same: a concise, achievement-led leadership document. We write in British or American English, and to the conventions of your target market.

The consultation is a detailed 60 to 90 minute one-to-one with Tracey, held via Zoom, Google Meet, or telephone. It explores your leadership value, commercial impact, key achievements, and career goals in far greater depth than a standard CV captures. It helps to have your current CV and your target roles or sectors in mind, but Tracey guides the conversation throughout, so no formal preparation is needed.

Do you review my existing CV?

Yes, we review your current CV as part of the initial discussion. It usually carries accurate timelines for your career moves and promotions, and often contains detail worth exploring that can be easy to overlook in conversation, so it gives us a valuable reference point. We no longer offer a free, standalone review; it forms part of our consultation-led process.

How long does the process take?

Most projects are completed within one to two weeks, including revisions. A first draft typically follows the consultation within 3–5 working days. Timing varies with the depth of your career history, the service level, and how quickly revisions are returned.

How much does an executive CV cost?

Executive CV services start from £599. Final pricing depends on seniority, complexity, and the level of support required. Because the work is bespoke rather than template-based, your exact price is confirmed during the initial consultation.

What is included in the core executive CV service?

The core service is a full executive CV rewrite built around a strategic career consultation. It includes professional profile creation, achievement extraction and positioning, ATS-aware structure and formatting, tailored executive branding, and final delivery in Word and PDF.

What is the difference between ECM, ECM+, and ECM Concierge?

They are three levels of Executive Career Management, scaled to the complexity of your next move. ECM (Executive Branding Essentials) covers your executive CV, LinkedIn optimisation, executive positioning, and strategic career consultation. ECM+ (Strategic Career Acceleration) adds cover and supporting letters, enhanced LinkedIn, interview preparation, broader positioning guidance, and additional branding support. ECM Concierge (Retained Executive Partnership) is a high-touch, ongoing partnership including multiple documents, board biographies, executive coaching and interview preparation, priority turnaround, international positioning, and extended consultation and revision support. Pricing for each is discussed during the initial consultation.

How do I pay?

Once we have established your requirements during the initial discussion, payment is made by invoice. We agree the scope of work with you first and then invoice for it, so there is no online checkout to complete.

Revisions are collaborative and included within the agreed project scope. Most projects are finalised within one to three rounds of refinement during the active project period, ensuring the documents accurately reflect your experience, positioning, and career goals.

How confidential is the service?

Confidentiality and discretion are fundamental to our work, and we regularly support senior leaders making sensitive or confidential career moves. Client information and documents are never shared externally, no work is used as a public example without explicit permission, and NDAs can be accommodated where required. We are registered with the ICO.
